You retain 100% ownership of the images you upload to IsThisPhotoFromCamera. Uploading an image for analysis does not transfer any rights to us. Your images remain your property at all times.

2. How We Use Your Data

Images are processed solely for the purpose of fraud detection and authenticity analysis. We do not use, sell, or train our models on your personal images without explicit consent.

We collect and use the following data:

Uploaded images — processed for forensic analysis only.
Email address — used for authentication and account communication.
Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
Usage data — anonymous analytics to improve the service.

3. Image Processing & Storage

When you upload an image, it is stored securely for the duration of your account. A compressed preview is generated for display purposes. Analysis results are stored as forensic reports linked to your account.

We do not share your images with third parties except as required for analysis (e.g., AI detection APIs that process images transiently without retention).

4. Data Deletion

You have the right to delete your data at any time. You can delete individual images and their associated reports directly from your dashboard. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at animalia.academy.ai@gmail.com.

Uploaded images used for temporary processing are purged from our cache after the analysis is complete.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Sightengine — AI generation detection analysis.
PostHog — anonymous product analytics.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also use analytics cookies (PostHog) to understand how the service is used. No advertising cookies are used.
